Diamond evaluations
GIA 4C's Diamond Chart for Grading

diamond grading

Diamonds are evaluated based on the internationally recognized 4 Cs: Cut, Color, Clarity, and Carat Weight.

Cut determines how well a diamond reflects light, affecting its brilliance and sparkle.

  • Color ranges from colorless to slightly tinted, with colorless diamonds typically being the most valuable.

  • Clarity measures the presence of internal or external imperfections, known as inclusions and blemishes.

  • Carat Weight indicates the size of the diamond, with larger stones generally commanding higher value.

At Inland Jewelry Buyers, we use these standards to provide accurate, fair evaluations, ensuring you receive the true value of your diamond.

Many diamonds will come with a laboratory report describing its specifications. If you have this, or any other paperwork on your diamond, please let send it with you inquiry.

Natural Versus Lab Created

Natural diamonds are formed over millions of years deep within the Earth, making each stone truly unique in its origin, rarity, and value. Lab-created diamonds, while visually similar, are manufactured by man and do not share the same natural history or long-term market value. At Inland Jewelry Buyers, we specialize in buying natural diamonds, ensuring that your piece is evaluated for its genuine rarity, craftsmanship, and lasting worth.
